George Copp
George Copp learned roofing from his dad in Michigan, beginning when he was only 7 years old. In fact, George Copp Sr. left a legacy of quality roofing talent when he taught his sons the roofing trade, all of whom own and operate their own roofing companies.
In 1960, at the age of 18, George moved to California and continued to master his craft, hand nailing 25 squares a day. His became known for his quality workmanship and lightning speed. George’s love for roofing continues to show in the excellent standards the company upholds to this day. In 1999, George, retired from roofing installation, attending to the quality control that is the hallmark of Copp Roofing & Construction, Inc.
Barbie Copp
Originally from Orange County, Barbie has been working in the construction industry for nearly 30 years, contributing her administrative talents to the construction of freeways, hospitals, ground up, and tenant improvements projects, as well as residential construction. She was the right arm to presidents and vice presidents of several large construction corporations.
In 1996, Barbie began to manage the daily operations of Copp Roofing full-time. Since then it has grown and with the addition of her general contractor’s B license, their construction company can now take care of all exterior building needs. Through her leadership, Copp Roofing & Construction, Inc. has expanded to include new Siding and Decking divisions, as well as Window installation and Blown In Insulation.

Roofing Consultant
Bill Henley
Born and raised in Arkansas, Bill Henley grew up helping his father with the family owned and operated service stations. After college he returned home to run the family business, got married and had three children. In 1983 he was elected to the Arkansas State Senate, where he represented his home District in Arkansas for four years.
Upon completion of his term in office, Bill worked in land development for seven years before moving to Malibu, California in 1991. There he founded an environmental group, Ozone Solution International, which contributed to the presidential ban on CFC use in 1997. In 1999, Bill moved to the mountains and started a business refurbishing and selling real estate. After working in roofing sales for one of the largest national home improvement companies, he joined the team at Copp Roofing & Construction, Inc. as their Roofing Consultant in the spring of 2009.
Bill is the proud and devoted father of three children and five grandchildren. He and his wife, Sharlene reside in beautiful Lake Arrowhead, California.

Roofing & Construction Consultant
Herm Hommerson
Herm has 40 years of experience in the residential/commercial roofing and construction industries. He began his career in roofing and various other trades as an installer and quickly progressed to foreman and then to supervisor and sales/management. Since then he has continued to work in both roofing and construction as the president of a roofing corporation, superintendent of the Public Works construction of schools and condominiums, and the project manager on various ground up and tenant improvement projects and high-rise structural steel commercial buildings.
Herm Hommerson is the Roofing & Construction Consultant for the Roofing, Siding and Decking divisions of Copp Roofing & Construction, Inc. He has been a member of the National Roofing Contractors Association, Western Regional Master Builders Association, and the Professional Roofer Advisory Council (Residential/Commercial). Additionally, he has been certified by National Coatings, Mule-Hide Products Co., Henry Co., Polyglass USA Inc., Firestone Building Products Co., Monier Lifetile, Environmental Coating Systems Inc., US Intec, Inc., GAF-Elk Materials Corp., Eagle Roofing Products, CertainTeed Corp., and Dibiten. His expertise has garnered him the honor of sitting on advisory councils and working as a state expert for the California State License Board.
Herm is a third generation roofing contractor and his wife, Debbie is the daughter of a roofing contractor.

Nelson Bran
Nelson Bran is a consultant and project manager for all of Copp Roofing & Construction’s jobs in the greater Southern California area including Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley.
Nelson began his career in the construction industry by learning the roofing trade, first as a tear off laborer while in college, then as an installer, and later as an estimator and supervisor. In 1993, he graduated from Cal State Fullerton with an undergraduate degree in communications and marketing. He is certified as a green builder through Build It Green.
During his 20 years in general construction and roofing, he has worked with engineers, architects, and builders in the commercial, industrial and residential markets, completing projects from simple bathroom remodels and kitchen redesigns to room additions and second stories and from new decks, siding and roofing to water extraction and mold remediation. He has experience in every single aspect of construction from reading plans and evaluating proposed remodels and improvements to consulting on and supervising lengthy and extensive projects.
Nelson Bran is based in Los Angeles and is the Construction and Roofing Consultant to contact for all projects in the greater Southern California area for additions, roofing, siding, decks, windows, doors, painting, fencing, and insulation.

Construction Superintendant
Jim Seely
Jim Seely has been working in the construction industry since 1980. His 30 years of experience have allowed him to become the master craftsman that he is today. Jim has worked in all aspects of home remodeling from framing, painting and roofing, to patio, stairs and deck construction; from restorations to room additions, as well as, concrete, block and tile work. Over the years, he has worked as a superintendant for several Southern California companies. Jim is father to four daughters and two stepsons. He resides with his family in the mountain resort town of Lake Arrowhead, California.
